MISTER SHAKESPEARE

This new play by an award-winning writer Michael Barry, starring Ciaron Davies (Game of Thrones, Manson Family Massacre) and directed by Stephen Church. We follow Shakespeare in his lodgings as he works on three of his best known plays, tortured by ghosts from the past and the outside world, even King James, he descends into mania as he creates King Lear, Antony and Cleopatra and Macbeth. This is an evocative depiction of London and Jacobean England during the plague, and of genius in isolation.
